This Christmas, Kingston upon Thames launches the Kingston Children’s Literary Festival and invites children and parents alike to listen to some of their favourite festive and non-festive tales from a line up some of the UK’s best-loved children’s authors in the lead-up to Christmas.

Join Ross Montgomery for a 30 minute reading from his book, Christmas Dinner of Souls.

Ross Montgomery is a primary school teacher and he writes his books when he really should have been marking homework. Author of Alex, the Dog and the Unopenable Door and The Tornado Chasers, Ross has been shortlisted for the Costa Book Award and nominated for the Branford Boase Award.

Recommended for ages 9-12, this event is completely free of charge. The reading will be held in the lower ground floor of the Bentall Centre in Kingston. Please note children may be seated on the floor, some soft cushions will be provided.

Children must be accompanied at all times.
